Molon has been a fixture of the Grand Traverse region since 1978, and as such, we proudly support a variety of community outreach and sponsorship programs.
Molon Excavating Sponsorships
As a locally owned and operated company, we believe strongly in the power of community and family. We are honored to be able to contribute to the success of various organizations such as the National Cherry Festival, Centre Ice Arena, Pit Spitters Baseball, local High School Athletics and many more. If you believe Molon could be a good partner for your organization, please click the Molon sponsorship button to learn more.
Local High School Athletics
Molon is aware that many school run athletic programs struggle with limited budgets for travel, equipment, uniforms, and other miscellaneous expenses. As such, these schools often rely on outside sponsorships to provide a safe, fun, and competitive experience for our local athletes.
Molon has developed a program in which local athletes can earn funds for their school’s athletic programs by passing out estimate request cards in their neighborhood. By doing so, that school receives a percentage of the contract value of any services that are provided off of these estimate requests. Additionally, Molon is a proud advertising sponsor for various school sports programs including the Kingsley Stags, Traverse City West Titans, Traverse City Central Trojans, St. Francis Gladiators, and Glen Lake Lakers.
Centre Ice Arena
Beginning in 2022, Molon became the rink sponsor of the West rink located within Centre Ice Arena, as well as the corporate Zamboni sponsor. In addition to serving as a rink for youth hockey and figure skating programs, Molon Rink serves as the home ice for the National Hockey League (NHL) Prospects Tournament and the Detroit Red Wings Training Camp.
Traverse City Pit Spitters
Molon is the Bullpen sponsor of Turtle Creek Stadium, home of the Traverse City Pit Spitters. Check out their schedule here and look for our banner in the outfield at their next home game!
National Cherry Festival
If you have heard of Traverse City, you have heard of the National Cherry Festival. Traverse City’s biggest event began in 1925, and annually brings more than 500,000 attendees to the area over the course of eight days of events. Molon is proud to be a part of the festivities, acting as a corporate sponsor for the annual Very Cherry Flying Pancake Breakfast.
In line with our fundamental values, emphasizing community and family, Molon is very proud to support the passions of our employees through various sponsorships. These include:
